Replace artificial protein bars with a healthy whole-food option!
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups raw almonds
2 tablespoons natural protein powder OR LSA meal
2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
8-10 medjool dates
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup coconut oil or water
Additional nuts, desiccated coconut or cacao powder to roll balls in
Method
Add almonds, protein powder, raw cacao and cinnamon into blender and combine until a crumbly mixture. Add dates and vanilla and process again. While blending, slowly add water or coconut oil until mixture combines and sticks together. Using wet hands, roll a spoonful of mixture into balls and then roll into your choice of nuts, coconut or cacao.
Makes about 15 balls.
